Dorset Tourism Stars Shine at the 2025 DMB Tourism Awards

The region’s tourism community came together in style on Friday night for the 2025 DMB Tourism Awards, held at the Hilton Bournemouth. The glittering gala celebrated the very best in local hospitality, attractions, and visitor experiences, shining a light on the people and businesses that make Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole such an exceptional destination.

The event was once again delivered on behalf of the Destination Management Board (DMB) by Tim Seward, and hosted by the brilliant Andy Brennan, who kept the evening flowing with warmth and humour.

From the opening moments, the atmosphere was electric as Polish cellist Diugcello made his UK debut, captivating the audience with his dynamic blend of classical and contemporary music. His high-energy performance set the tone for a night of celebration, community, and inspiration.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed recognising excellence across the local tourism industry, from hotels and restaurants to attractions and sustainability champions. The celebrations ended on a high with a lively 90s set from Carl Tracey, getting everyone on their feet to dance the night away.

“With enormous pride we presented the Tourism Awards again this year – they are now firmly rooted in the destination’s calendar once more,” said Andy Lennox, Chair of the Destination Management Board.

“It was a fantastic night and really shows what can be done when our areas all come together. I can’t wait to see what next year holds, especially with the launch of the new Tourism Partnerships, which I encourage everyone to sign up to.”

A huge thank you goes to the event’s main sponsor, Morebus, whose support helped bring the celebrations to life, and to all the sponsors who championed their categories.

Congratulations to all this year’s winners and finalists for their creativity, commitment, and contribution to the region’s visitor economy.
