Brewery Square Building awarded Derek Beauchamp Design Award for outstanding renovation

The Brewery Square building has been awarded the Derek Beauchamp Design Award 2024 in recognition of its outstanding conversion and renovation.

The building has now been converted into modern apartments and businesses while maintaining the architectural features and character of the original building.

The award is designed to stimulate interest in the quality of the county town’s built and natural environment, recognising schemes that could enhance living spaces.
