Your Total Guide To business

Creator Week 2026 Brings Creator Day, Networking and Events to Dorset

Following the continued success of You Are The Media Creator Day, we’re delighted to announce that Total Business Network (TBN) will be collaborating as part of Creator Week 2026: a full week designed to bring the business community together in multiple spaces, formats and conversations.

Creator Day has become a standout date in Dorset’s business calendar. But for 2026, the vision goes further.

Creator Week is built around one central idea: what happens when you don’t just gather for a day, but create a temporary “town of people” for a whole week?

It’s about bringing different creative and business initiatives into one place, for a moment in time, where people can dip in, join conversations, work alongside each other and properly connect. When you see the same faces across different settings, friendships form quicker. You settle faster. You leave knowing you’ve got people on your side.

A Week with Local Roots and National Reach

The week begins with a strong regional focus.

On Monday, the programme opens locally with a free live event at Bournemouth University called The Hall of Fame, hosted by Gordon Fong. It’s an honest, open forum where contributors share the beginnings, the messy middles and the wins behind their journeys.

Tuesday then brings the TBN Networking Brunch on Poole Quay, a relaxed but purposeful morning designed for good conversation and easy introductions. As one of Creator Day’s partners, TBN provides a welcoming environment where business owners can meet in a structured yet informal setting, ensuring conversations are meaningful and inclusive. From Wednesday onwards, Creator Week takes on a national stamp, as attendees arrive from across the UK.

Cowork Crew at FOUNDRY creates space to work side-by-side without the pressure of a formal agenda. Podcast recording slots will also be available, allowing creators to capture conversations while guests are in the same place. This is a rare opportunity to simply hit record and create together.

Wednesday evening hosts Failed Nights at FOUNDRY - the official welcome to the week - where stories of plans that didn’t quite work out provide humour, honesty and the perfect warm-up for what follows.

Thursday is the main occasion: Creator Day at Lighthouse, bringing together business owners and creators who want to sharpen their message, strengthen visibility and build confidence. The day blends practical insight with collaborative working sessions in a famously supportive atmosphere. Afterwards, the community heads to Da Vinci’s on Poole Quay for the after-party with Freelancer Magazine.

Friday begins with the now-traditional SeaDip, a collective early-morning swim, before the week closes with a live recording of Mel Barfield’s Indie Business Club at FOUNDRY.

More Than an Event

For TBN members and the wider Dorset business community, this collaboration represents more than diary dates. It’s an invitation to be part of something bigger than a single room or a single morning.

The TBN Brunch stands confidently on its own as a focused opportunity for relationship-building. Creator Day remains the flagship gathering. But together, within the wider Creator Week programme, they create continuity… conversations that begin on Tuesday can continue through to Friday.

Creator Week 2026 isn’t just about content or networking. It’s about belonging.
