Frettens Are Coming To Wimborne

We are delighted to announce that Frettens Solicitors will be opening a new office in Wimborne.

The town centre location will be the firm’s third, alongside the existing Christchurch and Ringwood offices.

Managing Partner Matt Fretten: 

“We have spoken about Wimborne as the next location for an office for a long time. We love the town, have so many clients and friends there, and many of our brilliant team live there. 

It really has just been a matter of finding the right building, which we were delighted to do earlier this year.” 

New solicitors in Wimborne 

Clare Hallett will head up the new office, which is conveniently located just off the square in a beautiful, listed building.

She will be joined by 20 more staff initially, with plans to grow the team to the office’s capacity, which would make the firm the largest in the town.

“I’m really excited. Wimborne is a fantastic town and we are hoping to follow the formula that has made our offices in Ringwood and Christchurch so successful. 

We will offer a full range of personal and commercial legal services, in an accessible town centre location, from day one. We are bright and modern and we offer clear legal advice in plain English.

Opening in January 2026

Frettens will take the keys in November and, after some minor works, will open officially in January. Matt Fretten is excited about the move.

“We have grown significantly over the past six or seven years, almost trebling in size. 

Our Ringwood office has gone from strength to strength and we’ve had some brilliant people join the team who wouldn’t have otherwise commuted to Christchurch.

We are sure that the Wimborne office will have a similar effect, and we can now attract the best people from across the whole conurbation."
