Dorset Hotel Wins Two National Titles at the Good Hotel Guide Awards 2026

The Priory Wareham Hotel, one of Dorset’s most distinguished riverside retreats, has been recognised among the finest hotels in the country after securing two major accolades at the Good Hotel Guide Awards 2026.

The historic 16th-century property received:

• Editor’s Choice: Romantic Hotel
• César Award: Best Hotel in the South West - inspired by César Ritz, the legendary hotelier. Often described as the Oscars of hotel-keeping, the César Awards celebrate the very best independent hotels across the UK.
