Geely EX2 Makes an Impression at Poole Business Launch

Local business owners and professionals came together at Breeze Geely Poole this week for a relaxed morning of networking, conversation and a closer look at one of the newest electric cars to arrive in Dorset – the Geely EX2.

The B2B launch event offered guests the chance to step away from the usual networking environment, catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and, importantly, get hands-on with the new EX2.

And the car certainly gave everyone plenty to talk about.

Guests were able to explore the EX2 properly, sit inside, chat to the Geely team and discover some of the features that you perhaps wouldn’t expect at its price point.

One feature in particular proved extremely popular: the front seats can fully recline and offer a massage function, meaning networking briefly turned into something considerably more relaxing as several of us tested them out!

Liz Hutchings, Founder of Total Guide to and Total Business Network, attended the event and said:
“It was such a nice way to network because it gave us the opportunity to have some really good conversations with other local businesses while actually experiencing the cars for ourselves.

“I was genuinely surprised by the EX2. The amount of technology and comfort you get for the money is impressive – naturally we had to test out the reclining massage seats while we were there! There were definitely a few people leaving who were suddenly considering a Geely for their next car.”

Alongside exploring the vehicles, guests enjoyed teas, coffees, juices and pastries, with the friendly Breeze Geely team on hand throughout the morning to answer questions about the cars and the Geely brand.

The event was particularly aimed at Dorset’s business community, providing an opportunity to discover what Geely could offer business drivers while creating new connections between local organisations.

Geely is still a relatively new name to many UK motorists, but mornings like this provide a chance to get beyond the badge and actually experience the vehicles – and the combination of technology, comfort and value for money certainly got people talking.

For us, it was also another reminder that some of the best business conversations happen outside the traditional networking room – although we may now struggle to find another networking venue offering massage chairs.
