Kerr: I’ve got a lot more to offer Poole Pirates
Poole Pirates ace Lewi Kerr stressed he had “a lot more to offer” after re-signing for the club in 2026.
Entering his 17th year in British speedway, the 35-year-old Norfolk-born rider has agreed terms to stay at Wimborne Road, having won a league and cup double last season.
Kerr featured in every Pirates fixture in 2025, amassing more than 440 race points and 29 bonus points, including 101 unbeaten rides from 239 starts.
Reflecting on remaining with the Pirates next season, he said: "I’m pleased to be back at Poole for 2026.
“I loved every minute with the club last season and finally achieved my main goal of winning the league — something I had never done before.
“I’ve got a lot more to offer, so I’m excited for what’s ahead."
Kerr will begin the new season with a 6.77 average and joins confirmed starters Richard Lawson, Will Cairns and Fraser Bowes in the Pirates’ line-up.
