Rushen completes exciting Poole Pirates 2026 line-up
Poole Pirates have secured the signing of promising youngster Cooper Rushen for the 2026 campaign – completing their septet for next season.
The teenager turns 16 on March 29th, therefore making him eligible for the start of Poole’s SGB Championship defence.
Rushen will join fellow British teenager Will Cairns at reserve for the Wimborne Road outfit – the main body of the team being made up by Lewi Kerr, Fraser Bowes, Dan Gilkes, Zach Cook and Richard Lawson.
Speaking about the club’s final signing of the winter, Poole promoter Dan Ford said: "We were intent on bringing Cooper to Poole, like most of the speedway world, we've been monitoring his progress over the past few years.
“He's a stylish, charismatic young British rider and I'm delighted he'll be a Pirate for 2026.
“There is no doubt he has an incredible future ahead of him and we are delighted to have, arguably, the best two teenage British riders turning out for us this coming season.”
