Brownsea Island

Providing sensational views across the Purbeck Hills, it's one of Poole's most popular harbours.

The island is a sanctury for wildlife; with a plentiful selection of birds such as kingfishers, oystercatchers and lots more.

The island is accessible by boat, and ferry charges apply (separate to NT fees). There are plenty of trails around the island, so it’s the perfect day out for all the family! 

Only assistant dogs are permitted on the island.
