David Lloyd, Poole has submitted exciting plans to extend their facilities for its members

According to the applications submitted, the club currently has a very limited internal spa offering and there have been considerable requests for an improvement in these facilities.

The plan is to transform one of its outdoor tennis courts to provide a space for members to relax and unwind in a landscaped environment. This will include a hydro-pool, an area for sun loungers, sauna, fire pit and the area will be lit with energy efficient lighting.

The leisure chain has spa gardens already at 28 of its other sites nationwide.

The plan is to make changes inside too with facilities including another hydro-pool, citrus and crystal steam rooms, Finnish and Himalayan salt saunas, a foot spa, plunge pool and a fire and ice room.

There will also be heated beds, relax loungers, ‘feature’ showers and a ‘deep relax’ room.

Another consultation will take place on 9th February.
