Dorset based cosmetics brand Lush will be the lead feature on the hit series Inside The Factory

This Sunday at 8pm (28th January) on BBC2, Dorset based cosmetics brand Lush will be the lead feature on the hit series Inside The Factory.

The episode takes a deep dive into the manufacturing process of bath bombs, which were invented in 1989 in Poole, Dorset by Lush co-founder and manufacturing director Mo Constantine - in her garden shed! Lush now produces over 5 million handmade bath bombs from its Poole factory every year.

Lush Manufacturing has given unprecedented access to the BBC, with host Gregg Wallace exploring the fresh handmade production process of Lush's best-selling Intergalactic bath bomb, revealing insider secrets, and meeting Lush employees.

Did you know that in the UK, Lush produces 532,000 Intergalactic bath bombs, by hand, every year. During the episode host Gregg Wallace learns all about the cult favourite, the inspiration, what makes the fizz, and how the combination of colours and lustre creates sparkling, swirling ‘bath art’. While Intergalactic is the star of the show, the episode also reveals the story of how Lush has been creating unique bath bombs since they were invented in1989.
