Perfect Partnership to Boost Dorset Business

Total Guide to Dorset are partnering with the Marketing West Business Awards as part of their goal to support local businesses and entrepreneurs.

By sponsoring the East Dorset Gold Awards as well as hyper-local Awards across the year including Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne, and many more, Liz Hutchings and her team want to recognise the hard work of smaller independent businesses.

Liz said: “I have a real passion for celebrating the unsung heroes of business – the small and micro business owners which is why I am sponsoring a range of categories at the East Dorset Gold Awards. What initially drew me to the awards was that it wasn’t just the usual businesses you see on the awards circuit.

“I love the diversity and the fact that it’s truly local, so this partnership aligns perfectly with my team’s values of supporting and helping local businesses to have a voice and grow.”

But what about the actual awards? Liz is sponsoring awards for hyper-local businesses in Ringwood, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Dorchester, Weymouth and Purbeck beginning with Poole in October 2023. One of the categories Total Dorset will be sponsoring are a new award; Business of the Year with 11 or more employees.

Liz Hutchings created the Total Guide to brand in 2011 after feeling the business community would benefit from having an online news service dedicated to specific communities. This eventually led to her winning the title of Business Person of the year in 2014 and many awards for her and her team have followed.
