Bournemouth Christmas Shows and Events 2025
Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre are set to dazzle audiences this December with a line-up of festive entertainment guaranteed to bring joy, laughter, and Christmas cheer to the South Coast.
The celebrations begin on Saturday 13 December with A Fairytale for Christmas, an Irish-inspired concert featuring singers, dancers, and musicians performing seasonal favourites in a heartwarming start to the BIC’s Christmas programme.
From Friday 19 to Saturday 20 December, Elf The Musical returns by popular demand, packed with festive fun including Santa’s flying sleigh, a snowball fight with the audience, and colourful North Pole scenes that promise to delight all ages.
On Sunday 21 December, That’ll Be Christmas celebrates its 40th anniversary, filled with comedy sketches, singalong classics, and plenty of family cheer to round off the BIC’s festive season.
Winter wouldn’t be complete without a spin on the Cool Coast Ice Rink, which reopens at the BIC from 13 December to 22 February. The rink will once again host themed skate party nights and welcome thousands of visitors keen to glide into the Christmas spirit.
Just a short walk away, the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre adds its own sparkle to the town’s festive line-up. Highlights include The Overtones Christmas Party on Tuesday 11 November, the Royal Marines Christmas Spectacular on Thursday 27 November, and the much-loved Christmas Cracker Carol Concert on Thursday 18 December, featuring free community performances by local musicians and choirs.
The season concludes in true pantomime style with Bournemouth’s annual Christmas pantomime, starring Melanie Walters, Olivia Birchenough, comedian Noel Brodie, West End star Jack Wilcox, and The Fabulous Sisters, Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph, bringing a magical finale to Bournemouth’s glittering Christmas celebrations.
