About: Bournemouth’s free festive Christmas light trail is bringing festive joy to Poole and the Dorset in 2022. Lighting up Bournemouth with over 100 festive-themed illuminations, 60ft light tunnel, a giant tree of light, a waterfall, reindeer, and more Christmas decorations, this is a great place to get into the spirit of Xmas.
Starting at Lansdowne Precinct, this winter wonderland is under a 20-minute drive from Poole and boats an outstanding Christmas tree and light trail featuring over 100 trees and thousands of lights. The trail is free to explore however charges are incurred for some activities.

Christmas Lights and Reindeer Experience
Where: Nutley Farm, Winfrith Heath, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 8DT
About: Spend Christmas under the lights at Nutley Farm as you explore the farm's magical light trail at this brilliant festive farm. Take a trip through their 600m Christmas walkway featuring glittering archways, dazzling trees and mesmerising light installations. Nutley Farm have gone the extra mile to make this one of Dorset's best Christmas experiences with the inclusion of real Christmas reindeer.
This family-friendly event will captivate children's imaginations as they get in the Christmas spirit by challenging themselves at Nutley's elf hunt which has been improved for 2022. Parents can pay extra to book a session at their festive barn where kids can enjoy a meet-and-greet session with Santa.

Light Up Christmas at Kingston Lacy

About: The National Trust property at Kingston Lacy is bringing Christmas to life in 2021 with their stunning Christmas light trail a must-visit festive activity. Watch and walk as the venue is transformed into a winter wonderland with their illuminated Christmas light trail taking you on a festive tour through the gardens of Kingston Lacy this Christmas. Pre-booking is essential and tickets are very popular so make sure to book in advance to avoid missing out.

Runton Road Christmas Lights
Where: Runton Road, Poole, Dorset, BH12 1NX
About: Runton Road has been wowing residents of Poole with mesmerising Christmas lights for over 20 years, and this year the residents of Runton are once again putting on a magical Christmas light show. Runton Road residents light up their houses and gardens with magical Christmas lights for you to walk past and explore, making this one of the most easily accessible and uplifting Christmas light trail in Poole. Christmas lights are turned on between 5pm and 6pm and turned off at 10pm.
