Cool Coast Ice Rink Returns to Bournemouth for Winter Fun

The South Coast’s biggest indoor ice-skating experience is returning to Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) this winter, giving families, friends and visitors another chance to glide into the season with festive fun.

From Saturday 13 December 2025 through to Sunday 22 February 2026, the Cool Coast Ice Rink transforms Purbeck Hall into a winter hotspot, perfect for those looking for a fun day out or something different to enjoy during the holidays. 

Open seven days a week with sessions running generally from 9am to 8:45pm, skaters of all ages and abilities are welcome. Beginners can enjoy gentler sessions to build confidence, while more experienced skaters will find plenty of space to show off their moves.

New for this season are themed skate nights, bringing music and atmosphere to the rink with specially curated playlists, from pop favourites to musical classics, adding an extra layer of fun for visitors looking for some fun!

Tickets are available for individual skaters, families and accessible sessions, and private hire packages are also offered for school groups, parties or corporate events. With session slots selling fast, booking ahead online is recommended to secure your preferred time on the ice. 

After a session on the ice, skaters and spectators can relax with refreshments at rink-side spots offering hot drinks and seasonal treats.

Operated by charity BH Live, Cool Coast Ice Rink has become a winter staple on the South Coast with accessible entertainment right in the heart of Bournemouth.
