Daniel O’Reilly to bring high-energy comedy show to Bournemouth
A popular stand-up comic is heading to Bournemouth this spring as part of a brand-new tour.
Daniel O’Reilly will perform at Bournemouth Pavilion this March, bringing his latest live show to the seaside venue for what promises to be a high-energy night of comedy.
Audiences can expect big laughs, sharp observations and the kind of energetic, no-holds-barred storytelling that has made O’Reilly a favourite with fans across the UK.
Known for his quick wit and larger-than-life stage presence, he mixes personal anecdotes with crowd-pleasing punchlines, often drawing on the ups and downs of modern life.
Beyond touring, he first rose to fame as the viral comedy character Dapper Laughs, which built a huge online following and led to television appearances and sold-out theatre dates across the country. The character became one of the most talked-about comedy creations of the early 2010s, with O’Reilly’s short online sketches gaining millions of views and helping him develop a dedicated fanbase.
In recent years, however, O’Reilly has stepped away from the persona to perform under his real name, reintroducing himself to audiences with a more personal, honest style of stand-up. His newer material focuses on his life off stage, including fatherhood, relationships, and the lessons he has learned throughout his career.
This shift has seen him win praise from audiences and critics alike. O’Reilly has since become a regular name on the UK comedy circuit, touring theatres nationwide and selling out venues with his energetic live shows. His performances are known for their interactive style, with plenty of improvisation and audience engagement alongside carefully crafted routines.
The Bournemouth date forms part of his latest tour, which will see him performing in towns and cities across the country throughout the year.
Catch him at Bournemouth Pavilion on Friday 27 March 2026, with tickets on sale now via bournemouthpavilion.co.uk
