Website Email 01305 261849The exhibition will take place at the Shire Hall Museum from 16–29 April and will be free to enter, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of contemporary photography produced by members of the club.
The display will feature a diverse collection of photographs capturing landscapes, wildlife, portraits, street scenes, and imaginative visual storytelling. From striking local views to evocative moments from further afield, the images reflect both the technical skill and artistic vision that have defined the club throughout its long history.
Formed in 1936, Dorchester Camera Club has brought together photographers of all abilities who share a passion for capturing the world through the lens. Over the decades it has fostered learning, collaboration, and creativity, helping generations of photographers develop their craft.
This anniversary exhibition celebrates not only the club’s rich heritage but also the vibrant photographic community that continues to thrive today. Visitors are warmly invited to explore the images on display and share in the celebration of 90 years of photography.
