Half Term Trail at Symondsbury Estate

Symondsbury Estate is inviting families to take part in its Tree Trail this half term, running from Saturday 23rd May to Sunday 31st May.

The outdoor activity encourages children to explore the Estate and discover a wide variety of trees, including:

  • Tall, towering trees
  • Ancient, twisted trees
  • Blossom and berry-bearing trees
  • Trees with unique textures and features

As families follow the trail, children are encouraged to:

  • Explore the Estate
  • Spot natural details in the environment
  • Enjoy active outdoor discovery
  • Take part in a fun anagram challenge

The Tree Trail aims to help children:

  • Build confidence
  • Spark curiosity
  • Develop a connection with nature
  • Create memorable outdoor experiences

Cost: £4 per child

How it works:

  • Collect a Tree Trail pack from the Visitor Centre
  • Opening times: 9am–5pm (Mon–Sat), 10am–4pm (Sun)
  • Explore the Estate and complete the trail
  • Return to the Visitor Centre to collect a prize

Families are encouraged to visit, explore, and enjoy an outdoor adventure surrounded by nature.
