Stompin on the Quomps

Stompin on The Quomps takes place in Christchurch in Dorset, on a Saturday 1st August 2026 from 11.30am until 10.15pm presenting a whole day and night of live smooth jazz entertainment for old and young.

Now in its 30th year, Stompin’ is an independent, non-profit family-friendly festival.

They feature a wide range of the very best Jazz talent from the local area and further afield, playing from noon until 10pm. And as usual they will have a wide range of food and drink stalls at the event.

They will also be selling raffle tickets on the day with some great prizes on offer. So bring along a blanket or some chairs and settle in for a whole day of top jazz in a picturesque, friendly and welcoming setting.

The Sausage Shack

Hot dogs don’t come much bigger than these foot-long handmade sausages served fresh from the grill. Dorset-based Hog & Sausage Shack will be serving up freshly barbecued pork or pork, cider and mustard sausages in soft rolls, loaded with your choice of sauces, chilli and salsa.

Ice-Cold Pimms, Prosecco & Estrella

Nothing pairs better with live jazz on a summer’s day than an ice-cold drink in the sunshine. That’s why we’ve brought together the classics of summer drinking, refreshing Pimms, chilled Prosecco and draught Estrella, to keep the good times flowing throughout the festival.
