Everyone is invited to step into a world of wonder as the estate unveils its brand-new immersive outdoor experience, The Great Dragon Egg Quest. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the historic grounds, lakes and woodlands, this enchanting trail promises adventure, imagination and just a touch of dragon fire.
Legend tells of a dragon who has hidden her precious eggs somewhere across the estate. Young explorers will follow an ancient map, uncover clues and track mysterious footprints as they journey through the landscape to complete their quest. Designed especially for families with children of all ages, the experience blends storytelling, nature and play, encouraging curiosity, confidence and shared family adventure.
Unlike a traditional Easter trail, The Great Dragon Egg Quest has been carefully crafted to feel truly spellbinding. With beautifully designed trail materials from world renowned, award-winning sculptor, Matthew Crabb, visitors will feel as though they have stepped into a living storybook.
The event will run throughout the Easter holidays and is set to be one of Dorset’s most exciting family attractions this spring. The trail awakens on 28th March and continues until 12th April, with two special encore weekends to follow.
