Irish McMahon is an aptly name funnyman hailing from Country Antrim in Northern Ireland and is despite his success as a comedian is still a current serving Officer in the Royal Navy.

Irish has three children and a Lancashire wife, who all provide great material for his set. He is a storytelling comic that weaves all aspects of his life into his stories, taking the audience on a journey of fun and laughter. Irish joined the Royal Navy in 1997 as an Air Engineering Mechanic. He has served on HMS INVINCEABLE, CORNWALL, BULWARK and twice on our newest aircraft carrier, HMS PRINCE OF WALES.

Irish has always had a love for standup and gets to as many live shows as he can. After years of a life full of jokes his wife dared him to step on a stage and try it himself. The rest is history as he’s now rapidly in demand all over UK.

Irish says:

”Comedy is instantaneous feedback, if your joke works the crowd laugh and laughter really is the best medicine.”

Damion Larkin will often improvise his entire set to hilarious effect. There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more.

“Industrious in rotating his material…which is warmly and intelligently told” Chortle
“One of the country’s top new acts” BBC
(this was years ago so now he’s just one of the country’s comedians! haha)

All line ups are subject to change, but don’t worry, we’ll only replace them with someone just as funny!
