The World’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Returns to Bournemouth This September
This September, Bournemouth will once again be shaken, stirred, and set alight by The King’s Voice - the world’s leading tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.
Audiences will be transported on a musical journey through Elvis’s remarkable career: from the hip-swinging energy of the 1950s, through the iconic black-leather swagger of the ’68 Comeback Special, to the glitz and glamour of his electrifying Las Vegas years. The show breathes soul into Presley’s timeless ballads and sets the stage ablaze with the unforgettable jumpsuit performances that defined an era.
At the heart of The King’s Voice is Gordon Hendricks, a performer whose uncanny vocal likeness to Elvis has stunned fans across the globe. Growing up in Stoke-on-Trent in the early seventies, a young Gordon sang along to his sisters’ endless Elvis records, unknowingly rehearsing for the career of a lifetime.
From those humble beginnings, Gordon rose to international acclaim, claiming titles and trophies across the UK, Canada, and the USA. His crowning moment came in 2017, on the 40th anniversary of Elvis’s passing, when Elvis Presley Enterprises crowned him The World’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist - live on stage at Graceland. Officially endorsed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Gordon is recognised as the closest you’ll ever get to hearing The King’s voice again.
Backed by a powerhouse 11-piece live band, The King’s Voice delivers the full Elvis experience - from the tender beauty of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to the show-stopping energy of “Suspicious Minds
Gordon Hendricks is the closest you’ll see and hear to The King himself - sensational, spectacular, and full of shake, rattle n’ roll.
