Toy Appeal at The Dolphin

The Dolphin will be running a Toy Appeal, on Saturday 29th November.

Amelia’s Rainbow Charity, based in Dorset, is once again spreading festive joy with its much-loved Toy Appeal at The Dolphin, Poole. This heartwarming Christmas project sees Amelia’s Elves delivering carefully chosen gifts to the families the charity supports. What began in 2012 has grown into a county-wide effort, with 13 teams of Elves travelling across Dorset to deliver presents to children, siblings, and parents just before Christmas.

Every gift is tailored to suit each child’s needs and interests, especially given the wide range of conditions the charity supports. Thanks to the generosity of the public and local business partners like The Dolphin who act as gift drop-off centres, December transforms into a magical month at Elf HQ, where volunteers work tirelessly to sort and pack presents. The Toy Appeal is a true community effort, supported by fundraising.
