Tell us a little bit about yourself…

My name is Sergio and I'm a proud dad of three beautiful girls, I've been living in the UK with my family since 2017. After college I started my university journey to become an accountant but after 3 years I decided to quit as it wasn't something I really enjoyed. In 2012 I started my own business on the automotive industry, I then opened a small garage dedicated to automotive brake parts where we supply and install them to our customers. You know what they say “Do what you love and you won´t work a day in your life”

I did this until 2016 when my country (Venezuela) went through a huge recession which made it unsustainable and not to mention the levels of insecurity we were facing that in many occasions made me fear for me and my family life. Therefore, in 2017 we decided to start a new life in the UK and we are so grateful to have chosen this country as our new home.

In March 2020 COVID-19 hit causing me to make some big changes in my life. I’d been thinking about starting my own mobile valeting & detailing business for some time, this is what inspired me to create Highlight Valeting & Detailing.

Lots of people like their vehicles properly cleaned and this is a vital step to stop the spread of the virus, something that an automated car wash won't offer.

What services do you provide?

I offer mobile car valeting and detailing services, this is the art of a detailed clean not only the inside but also the outside of your vehicle!

What inspired you to create Highlight Valeting?

My passion for the automotive industry and the desire to offer a great service without interrupting people’s life but instead freeing time that can be spent with family and friends inspired me to create Highlight Valeting & Detailing.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

I have had the opportunity to work on some of the most amazing cars that any petrol head would dream off.
