Van Mossel Automotive Group provides new home for Škoda in Bournemouth and Poole

Van Mossel Automotive Group UK has been appointed as the new franchised Škoda dealer for the Bournemouth and Poole area.

The Czech brand will move into the Van Mossel Breeze Volkswagen showroom on Yarrow Road, Poole, from 1st October 2026. A comprehensive range of new and used vehicle sales, alongside dedicated aftersales services, will be available at the site, operating alongside the existing Volkswagen offering.

Plans are underway for a dedicated Škoda showroom in the future.

Van Mossel already represents Volkswagen Group brands: Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, and Ducati in Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset, but Škoda isn’t totally new, as Van Mossel already represent the brand on the Isle of Wight.

Michael Gunner, Group Operations Director for Van Mossel Breeze, said: “We are delighted to add further Škoda representation to the Van Mossel family. As Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive, we have been representing Volkswagen Group brands in Dorset for over 25 years. We look forward to bringing our combined experience and expertise to Škoda, to deliver exceptional service to local motorists.”

This latest agreement further enhances Van Mossel’s rapidly expanding presence on the UK mainland, which now encompasses nine brands across 12 dealership locations, two body repair centres, and one parts distribution warehouse. It also compliments our successful multi-branded retailers in the Crown Dependencies of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

Andrew Lean, CEO for Van Mossel Automotive Group UK, added: “It’s an exciting time of growth for Van Mossel in the UK. Bringing Škoda into our Bournemouth and Poole network allows us to build on our long-standing Volkswagen Group partnerships, offering customers an even broader choice of exceptional vehicles, backed by established local retail expertise.”

Škoda aftersales bookings are now being taken at the new location, for appointments from 1st October onwards. To book, please call the Van Mossel Breeze team on 01202 713131 or email servicecc@breeze.co.uk. For all other sales and general enquiries, please contact skoda@breeze.co.uk
