Free Football Challenges and Wimbledon Screenings Come to The Dolphin

The Dolphin in Poole is gearing up to host a series of community sport events to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.

FTY Lab, the local indoor football centre, has teamed up with The Dolphin to invite locals to take part in its free ‘Fast Feet’ competition. Shoppers of any age are encouraged to step inside the interactive football training ring and score as many goals as they can in one minute to earn a spot on The Dolphin’s leaderboard. The winner at the top of the leaderboard at the end of June 2026 will receive an official children’s England football shirt from Sports Direct.

The complimentary sessions are taking place outside Boots in The Dolphin mall from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. No pre-booking is necessary. The next weekend will be 27-28th June

Additionally, The Dolphin are replaying the World Cup matches from the previous night on its big screen from 10am throughout the tournament.

The Dolphin will screen the 2026 Wimbledon Championships from Monday 29^th June to Sunday 12^th July in the mall. Dolphin retailer, Kaspa's Desserts, will serve ice cream, strawberries, and other delicious treats during the matches.
