Pirates power past Monarchs to reach BSN Series final
A dominant display from Poole Pirates saw them power into the final of the 2026 BSN Series.
Trailing by two points on aggregate against the Edinburgh Monarchs heading into the semi-final second leg at Wimborne Road, Poole powered to a 60-30 win to seal a 104-76 triumph on aggregate.
Richard Lawson (14+1) and Kyle Newman (9+3) sealed paid maximums, while Lewis Kerr (14) was also once again in the points.
There was also a warm ovation for teenager Cooper Rushen, who paraded his British Under-21 title ahead of tapes up at Wimborne Road.
Victory meant Poole will meet either Redcar Bears or Berwick Bandits in the final of the competition.
Next up for Poole is a Knockout Cup semi-final at home against Berwick on Wednesday, June 24.
