Autumn Steam Gala

Autumn Steam Gala is a three-day heritage steam event at Swanage Railway, featuring intensive services and a celebration of classic steam across the line.

Autumn Steam Gala runs from Friday 11 September to Sunday 13 September 2026 at Swanage Railway.

The event is a major heritage steam weekend expected to appeal to enthusiasts and families, with steam locomotive action across the three days. Services are planned to operate along the line, including runs from Swanage towards the River Frome on the extension towards Worgret Junction. Catering and facilities are available on site and on trains, and trade stands are expected at Swanage Station.
