Founded in 2003 by producer and musician Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live has redefined the tribute concert experience. Forgoing impersonations, costumes, and gimmicks, the company is dedicated to reproducing rock’s most iconic albums exactly as they were originally recorded - note for note, cut for cut.
With a rotating roster of world-class musicians - many of whom have shared stages and studios with legends of the music industry - Classic Albums Live performs over 200 shows annually across North America. Now, they are bringing their meticulous and passionate performance of this legendary Beatles album to UK audiences.
“When we say note for note, we mean it,” said Craig Martin. “Matching the musician to the album is crucial. We assemble the best talent for each project to make sure we honour every detail of the original recording.”
The White Album, more formally known as The Beatles, was released in 1968 and became one of the band’s most ambitious and experimental works, spanning a diverse range of styles and sounds.
Recreating it live is a major undertaking - one that Classic Albums Live embraces with rigor and reverence.
“The band for this performance is significantly larger than your typical touring outfit,” Martin explained. “When it comes to tracks like Glass Onion or Revolution 9, it’s all hands on deck. Our string and horn sections are incredibly versatile—even tackling orchestral percussion—because whatever it takes, we want every recorded sound to be performed live.”
This upcoming Bournemouth concert marks a special milestone for the group.
Performing The White Album in the UK adds a real ‘coming home’ feeling,” Martin added. “This is sacred ground for Beatles music. We’re going to pay this album the ultimate respect and perform it exactly as it was meant to be heard.”
Classic Albums Live: The Beatles White Album will arrive at Bournemouth International Centre’s Windsor Hall on Tuesday, 9 September 2025. Tickets are available now from £35.75 at www.bic.co.uk
