Engelbert Humperdinck brings The Last Waltz Tour to Bournemouth this September

The British musical legend Engelbert Humperdinck has announced that he will return to the UK with his ‘The Last Waltz’ Tour, which will visit four prestigious venues in September 2025.

His stop at Bournemouth Pavilion on Monday 8 September 2025, is the only date for fans to catch this musical icon live on stage in the South.

His is a truly illustrious career that began under the stage name Gerry Dorsey in the ’50s but exploded internationally when he became known as Engelbert Humperdinck in 1965. Enjoying rapid success he went on to top the charts for the first time in 1967, and he never looked back.

Engelbert has sold over 150 million records worldwide, received four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe for Entertainer of the Year, 63 gold and 24 platinum records, and is one of only a handful of artists with a star on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Las Vegas Walk of Fame.

To this day, Engelbert has remained a global star, and he was appointed an MBE in 2021 Birthday Honours List.

Engelbert is best known, of course, for mega-hit “Release Me [And Let Me Love Again]”, which was a No.1 in the UK but also a huge hit in the US. This charismatic performer has enjoyed eight huge UK Top Ten hits including “The Last Waltz” itself, as well as “There Goes My Everything”, “Am I That Easy To Forget”, and ‘The Way It Used To Be’.

Tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday, 16 May 2025, and will be available from bournemouthpavilion.co.uk
