Looking for things to do in Poole in September 2027? Add Seafood & Sounds to your calendar. Following a successful event that welcomed more than 9,000 visitors, organisers have confirmed its return for another weekend bringing the community together.
The previous Seafood & Sounds weekend brought a lively festival atmosphere to Poole, with activity across Poole Quay, The Dolphin Centre, Falkland Square, outside The Brewhouse and Old Orchard.
Visitors enjoyed seafood sellers along the waterfront at Poole Quay, alongside more than 60 stallholders offering gifts, artwork, handmade products and other unique finds. Live music took place across nine locations throughout the two days, giving visitors plenty to discover while exploring the town.
The event also provided a welcome boost for Poole’s independent businesses and traders, with some local businesses describing it as their best trading weekend of the year.
The 2027 event marks the fifth anniversary of Seafood & Sounds. Organisers Jeanette from Truly Scrumptious, Helen from Coastal Cruises, Michelle from Poole Arms, Severyn from St Tropez and Nikki from The Customs House are looking forward to celebrating this milestone with the community.
Following overwhelmingly positive feedback from visitors, traders and local businesses, many stallholders have already expressed an interest in returning. Organisers have also thanked the sponsors and volunteers whose support helped make the previous event possible.
Whether you’re local to Dorset or planning a September visit to Poole, save the dates for this popular community event.
