Secret Fungi Festival 2026

A three-day fungi festival in a walled garden in Dorset featuring talks, foraging, workshops, demonstrations, live music, family activities and a fungi marketplace.

Secret Fungi Festival 2026 takes place at Careys Secret Garden (Wareham, Dorset) in partnership with Jurassic Coast Mushrooms.

Dates: 23–25 October 2026

The festival returns for three days of fungi, food, foraging, talks, workshops, demonstrations, live music, family activities and a vibrant fungi marketplace within the 3.5-acre walled garden in the Dorset countryside.

Admission ticket required: Every guest needs a Festival Admission Ticket for entry to the garden and the main festival programme for the period shown on the ticket. Some workshops/forays/special experiences are bookable separately and cost extra.

Saturday evening feast exception: If the Saturday Evening Foraged Feast is booked via the pre-bookable workshops/forays page, evening admission is included with the feast ticket.

Highlights include:

• Talks on medicinal mushrooms, fungal networks, edible wild fungi, beginner mycology and fungi in ecosystems
• Forays, workshops and demonstrations (some limited capacity and require pre-booking)

• Full Weekend Access Ticket: £50.00 (limited)
• Under 12s: Free festival admission

Good to know: No on-site camping. Only registered assistance/service dogs permitted.
