SoundScape: New Two-Day Music Event Comes to Poole This July

Music lovers are invited to experience SoundScape, a brand-new two-day celebration of live music and industry collaboration, taking place in Poole, Dorset on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July.

Sponsored by Poole BID and Absolute Music, SoundScape will transform Poole town centre into a vibrant hub of live performances, DJs, and creative exchange. The weekend will culminate in a dedicated music industry gathering designed to inspire and support those working across the sector.

Saturday 11th July: Live Music Across the Town

On Saturday, more than 100 performers will take to outdoor locations and venues across Poole, with music starting from 11:00am. Highlights include:

  • The Acoustic Connection Stage in Falkland Square
  • The Choir Zone near Poole Museum
  • The Busking Stop on the High Street outside The Harry Paye Pub
  • Performances in Amity Square
  • Live music hosted in pubs, restaurants, and shops throughout the town centre.

Most events are free to attend. Visitors will be able to access a full programme and event map online in advance, as well as on the day.

Sunday 12th July: Music Industry Networking and Advice

On Sunday, SoundScape shifts focus to professional development, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with industry experts and gain valuable insights. The event is ideal for musicians, producers, engineers, promoters, venue operators, and anyone looking to grow within the music business.

Industry representatives will include festival organisers, Musicians’ Union, music media professionals, and members of the South Coast Events Forum.

The session will take place at GATHER at The Dolphin Shopping Centre and is free to attend. Guests can drop in at any time between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
