The Great Tail Trail Farewell Weekend

Don’t miss your last chance to see the fin-tastic mermaid tail sculptures under one roof in a spectacular finale before they swim off to their forever homes at a Grand Auction on 20 June, with proceeds supporting Julia’s House, the local children’s hospice.

Forty-five giant mermaid tails designed by local, national and international artists will be joined by 43 Tiny Tails created by local schools and community groups – the only time all the sculptures will be on display together for everyone to enjoy.

As well as the mer-mazing sculptures, there will plenty to enjoy as you shell-ebrate the end of the trail, including:

• Meet the Artists: Find out the inspiration behind the sculptures designs in chats with the talented artists who brought the mermaid tails to life.
• Children’s Activities: Keep the little ones busy with lots of fun games and activities they’ll love.
• Mini-Sculpture Painting: Have a go at designing your very own mini mermaid tail!
• Sea-themed Goodies: Pick up a souvenir from the trail including tote bags, cards, badges and fun sea-themed mementos.
• Grab a Treat: Enjoy a cuppa, snacks, and other tasty refreshments.
