Not Long To Go! Grooves on the Green Returns to Ashley Cross This Weekend

The countdown is officially on as Grooves on the Green returns to Ashley Cross this weekend, promising three days of live music, family entertainment, fantastic food and community spirit in one of Dorset's most loved summer festivals.

Taking place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June at Ashley Cross Green, the much-loved festival is set to welcome thousands of visitors for a packed programme of live performances, family attractions, street food, festival bars and entertainment for all ages.

Now firmly established as one of Dorset's favourite community events, Grooves on the Green was originally created to bring residents together and support local businesses. More than two decades later, it continues to do exactly that, creating an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of Ashley Cross.

Music lovers can look forward to an impressive line-up featuring dance legends Livin' Joy alongside tribute favourites, local bands and the hugely popular Rockaoke experience, where festivalgoers can take to the stage and perform with a live band.

Families are equally well catered for, with a dedicated entertainment stage hosting magic shows, bubble performances, circus workshops, character meet-and-greets and plenty of activities designed to keep younger visitors entertained throughout the weekend.

Festival organisers are also promising an expanded selection of food, drink and market stalls, showcasing everything from international street food and local favourites to artisan traders and craft vendors.
