Interactive Brambly Hedge Trail at Abbotsbury

The wonderful Brambly Hedge are back for a final season at Abbotsbury Swannery.

The interactive trail is based on The High Hills book, along with a charming story trail-based Sea Story from the Brambly Hedge collection.

This year they have a new interactive trail based on The High Hills book, this story is a popular favourite with fans new and old.

Join Wilfred and Mr Apple on a journey to the High Hills, which leads to an unexpected adventure. Designed for families to enjoy, the trail includes interactive activities, stamp points and questions to answers, all alongside the swans and discovering more about the unique Swannery.

After the trail head to the Cafe where there will be colouring sheets to enjoy and the Gift Shop will feature a selection of books from the collection and other Brambly Hedge gifts.

The Swannery is open daily from Saturday 14th March and closes Sunday 1st November. The trail will be available to visitors throughout the whole of the 2026 season.
