Swanage Railway and The Irregular Special Players present an interactive journey of crime and detection: “It’s locomotory, my dear Watson”.

Guests enjoy a Sherlock Holmes mystery performed in period costume on a period train, becoming suspects while hunting for clues and solving the crime. The experience includes a welcome drink (Prosecco or soft drink) on the platform, followed by travel in the historic Devon Belle Observation Car or a 1930s Maunsell coach, with a cream tea served on the train. The service is hauled by a historic Class 33 diesel locomotive.

Location: Begins and ends at Swanage Station; held on platforms and on board trains.
