The Red Arrows Will NOT Return to Bournemouth Air Festival 2024

The Red Arrows, a beloved display team, will be absent from the lineup at the 2024 Bournemouth Air Festival.

Today, it was announced that The Red Arrows will not be participating in the upcoming Bournemouth Air Festival. The Air Festival holds a special place in the hearts of Bournemouth locals, with The Red Arrows being known as the show's headline display and famous for their thrilling air displays.

Unfortunately, due to prior international commitments, The Red Arrows will be absent during the scheduled dates of August 29th to September 1st, 2024.

However, Councillor Andy Martin has moved swiftly to reassure Bournemouth residents that the Air Festival will proceed as planned and promises it will be as exciting as ever. Martin draws attention to the successful 2019 Air Festival, where The Red Arrows were absent due to a U.S. tour, yet the show still receieved rave reviews. 

In a proactive measure, the Air Festival Team is already actively searching for a replacement team that can deliver a performance equally as captivating as The Red Arrows.

While it will be disappointing to miss The Red Arrows as the headline performers, there are talks underway to secure new and alternative arrangements.
