Easter: The Great Careys Spring Grow

Grow Something Good This Easter from 1st - 3rd April!

They're so excited to be celebrating Easter in the Secret Garden, and they've got an EGG-cellent line-up of events and activities to keep the whole family entertained!

NATURE TRAIL (everyday, self-guided)

Nature Trail - They've set up a trail around the gardens, with 10 fun facts for children to collect in their ‘Garden Passport’, once they’ve completed the trail, they can take their passport to the Coffee Shop for a special packet of Careys Wildflower Seeds to take home and plant in the garden!

GARDEN GUIDED TOUR

Thursday 2nd April 11am - 12pm. Tickets sold seperately. 

Discover the gardens like never before with their Guided Garden Tours at Careys Secret Garden, an exclusive, small-group experience designed for passionate gardeners, plant lovers, and curious beginners alike.

Join a member of their knowledgeable gardening team for an inspiring guided walk around the gardens. From the Arid Garden to Mushroom Corner, Food Forest to Permaculture Zone, and all the areas in between - you’ll gain insight into the plants, techniques, and sustainable practices that shape their unique 3.5 acre walled garden.

WILDLY KIND PARENT & TODDLER GROUP

Friday & Saturday at 9.15am - 11am. Tickets sold seperately

A full morning of nature-themed forest school fun activities with Anna-W.

EASTER WILDLIFE CLUB

From Wednesday to Friday from 9.30am - 11.00am (suitable for ages 5-12yrs). This activity is included with your tickets.

Join Ed and Kate for a morning of outdoor adventure with hands-on activities such as:

• Identifying garden birds and learning to recognise their songs
• Discovering how birds build their nests
• Looking closely at moths and learning how to identify them
• Guided nature walks around the gardens

Children will have the chance to explore, observe and learn about the amazing wildlife that calls the garden home — all in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment with Ed and Kate, Careys expert wild team! 

GARDENING DEMONSTRATIONS

From Wednesday - Friday from 1.30pm - 2.30pm (suitable for Adults and Children). This activity is included with your tickets

• Weds: Composting for garden gold
• Thurs: Planting for pollinators
• Fri: Seed starting demo, and why no peat? 

BIRD RINGING DEMONSRATION

Saturday 2nd April: 9am - 11am with Ed and Kate from Careys Secret Sightings. Tickets sold seperately.
