Visit a National Trust place for free this autumn

How do you like to spend time relaxing here in Dorset? Walking in nature? Finding new places to explore? The National Trust are giving you the perfect opportunity to get out and about this Autumn with a free single-use family pass for most of their stunning locations.

The Total Guide to Dorset team can highly recommend Badbury Rings, Kingston Lacy, Stourhead, Corfe Castle and Hardy’s Cottage but these are just a handful of locations available to visit with your free pass. Brownsea Island and White Mill are not available with your pass so make sure you double check their exemption list which can be found on the National Trust website.

Some National Trust places may be busier at certain times and on certain days, so you may want to keep this in mind before visiting. Certain places may also require booking in advance but you can take a look at their website for more information.

The single-use pass allows free entry for two adults and up to three children, one adult and up to four children, or two adults on their own.

When you claim your free pass, select the free member’s ticket option and use the code ESCAPEINTOAUTUMN2023 when asked for your membership number.

The free pass is only available between 18th September and 20th October 2023.

We would love to know which location is your favourite and why.

Visit National Trust's site for more information.

Places which are exempt from free admission can be found here.
