REVIEW: Lunch Time at Wraps n Roll
We headed over to Wraps n Rolls in The Dolphin, Poole this week for a quick lunchtime bite – and it didn’t disappoint!
You can choose between their cold wrap deal (a wrap, crisps, and hot drink for £8.95) or go all-in with a hot wrap, loaded roast potatoes, and a drink for £15.95 – which is exactly what we did. View their menus and deals - here.
We ordered the Pulled Beef Yorkie Wrap with Loaded Roasties from the set, alongside a Hot Buttermilk Chicken Wrap and a Garlic Yogurt Chicken Shawarma Jacket Potato to make sure we got a proper taste of what they offer.
The Loaded Roasties were a real highlight – crispy, golden, and bursting with flavour thanks to a generous topping of BBQ sauce, cheese sauce, crispy onions, and bacon bits. Proper comfort food!
The Jacket Potato was fluffy and a great size, but it was the Garlic Yogurt Chicken Shawarma on top that stole the show! Juicy, packed with flavour, and perfectly balanced.
Then came the wraps. The Yorkshire Pudding Wrap was a real star – tender shredded beef, melty Monterey Jack, rich gravy mayo, all wrapped in a perfectly crisp yorkie. Pairing this with the roasties felt like the perfect midweek fix while waiting for your Sunday roast!
The Buttermilk Chicken Wrap with Mexicana cheese, little gem lettuce, and chipotle mayo was a lighter option, but still satisfying. It’s the ideal grab-and-go lunch if you want something tasty and filling, but a step above the usual supermarket meal deal.
To finish, we were treated to a sneak preview of their upcoming Apple Crumble for the Autumn/Winter menu – warm, comforting, and a sweet end to a hearty meal.
Wraps n Rolls is definitely worth a visit if you’re after something fun, flavourful, and a little different for lunch in Poole.
And remember, you can also order with them via Deliveroo!
