About: The Twelve Eatery opened its doors on the 12th of December 2018 at 12 pm and according to the team they have exciting plans for the next twelve years, including Sunday lunch!
The Twelve Eatery is currently the fifth-best vegan restaurant in the world, sourcing ingredients locally and organically as much as possible. Their classic and Sunday Roast menus are award-winning and VERY popular with not only Bournemouth residents but also an ever-growing following across the globe.
Even though The Twelve Eatery is 100% vegan, their Sunday roasts are second to none. Urban Garden
Self-styled as the ‘Best Sunday Roast on the Coast’, Urban Garden in Bournemouth offers one of the best traditional Sunday lunches in town. They are all about fresh, local, sustainable (organic where possible) produce, sourced from the surrounding Garden counties. Urban Garden is the friendliest place for a gorgeous Sunday roast with family and friends.
Sunday lunch is served from 12 - 4:30pm and is a fantastically good value at £23.00 for 2 x courses and £27.00 for 3.
Booking is highly recommended, to ensure a spot for Roast!
Choose from Salt-brined West Country Topside of Roast Beef, Roast Hampshire Pork Loin with Homemade Apple sauce or New Forest Mushroom, Lentil, Pistachio, Cashew and Almond Nut Roast.
All dishes accompanied with Smoked Parsnip Purée red cabbage, maple roasted carrots, swede, red onion, cauliflower, roast potatoes, yorkies and unending gravy…
There are always a few extra dishes to choose on the Sunday menu, such as Roasted Hake Fillet or the Chana Masala burger, if you don't feel like going mainstream.
Remember to leave room for the desserts (Blueberry Crumble or Dorset Apple Bake) too!
As the ingredients are seasonal, there may be variations to the menu.
There is a lovely bar with lots of delightful wines, beers, cocktails and mocktails to choose from.
If you are out with the kids, half-size roasts are available at half the price (£7.50 - £8.00). Urban Garden also has an excellent, all-day menu for the little ones too, with mini-sliders, shark bites (haddock) Chicken Chomps and lots of veggie/vegan dishes too.
