Why: Pizza! Who doesn't love Pizza? El Murrino is a fun, family-run Italian restaurant with an open kitchen so you can watch the pizzaiolos at work while you wait. This is Italian food at its best. Why: You can’t very well visit the seaside and not have that quintessential dish - FISH & CHIPS, can you? Open since 1989 and run by three generations of the Capel family, including the eponymous Fred. The finest sustainably sourced fish and proper fat chips, it doesn't get much better than this.
Family is everything and Chez Fred has made it fun and educational with its ’Ocean Heroes Restaurant Sprat Pack’, with loads of puzzles and activities to keep the kids entertained. The Sprat Pack menu is perfect at £7.50 with a main, drink and homemade Jersey milk ice cream.

Why: It is an indoor jungle! Funky and fun with a large outdoor terrace but most importantly the kids' menu here is served between 12 - 10 pm, in case you are running on empty with hungry kids… Urban Garden also understands that it can be tricky sometimes with a family in tow and having a plethora of books and games on hand to borrow and an activity pack that comes with each kid's meal.
The all-day kids' menu offered here is fantastic with mini-sliders, shark bites (haddock) Chicken Chomps, and lots of veggie/vegan dishes too. Urban Garden also offer half portions of any dish on their menus at half price, to encourage the kids to try something new - (Under 12’s only)
