REVIEW: Minky Moos Frozen Princess Party Poole

My husband and I naively made a pact when our first born arrived saying we wouldn't go crazy with birthday parties until Florence was at least 6.

Little did we know that we'd be even more keen than her to go big for her 4th birthday! After all the lockdowns and time away from friends we couldn't resist organising a big birthday bash with all her nursery friends.

I take my youngest to Minky Moos Sensory classes, they've always been so impressive, and I had spotted that they do themed princess birthday parties so with that and Florence being obsessed with Frozen and Elsa, the decision on what to do entertainment wise was obvious.

We only gave Minky Moos about 4 weeks' notice but they were extremely accommodating and fitted in times to suit the young one's nap times. They advised we went for a 30-minute session; I wasn't sure it would be long enough but with their experience at the ages up to 4 it is more than enough time for their short attention spans. They emailed a few questions so they could make the party personal for Florence and it was all very quick and straight forward, but we could see from the offset that they really care about making their parties as individual and special as can be.

Elsa arrived about 10 minutes ahead so she could get set up (I must admit - she looked so authentic I felt a little star struck!).

We had a garden party but Elsa advised us to have it in the living room so she could have her lights for the extra wow factor. We closed the curtains for added affect and called the girls in!

They were all dressed in full Elsa attire and when they realised who was waiting for them they were all quite lost for words and stared at her in disbelief - actual Elsa was standing before their eyes! Elsa made a real fuss of each of them saying how beautiful they all looked, asking their names so they all soon warmed up.

It was an action packed 30 minutes; (an hour would have been too long so this was great advice!) they made wishes with magic dust, played Frozen themed games, sang Elsa and Anna songs, danced, sang, popped bubbles, and just had the times of their lives. It was so wonderful to see them all so happy and wowed by it all.

It was incredible value for money at just £85 for 30 minutes. There are lots of different options too for timings, different princesses and you can have Elsa and Anna together if you're really going for it.

If you're looking to organise a birthday party for your children, I highly recommend Minky Moos themed birthday parties.
