PaGe One Bar Launches on Poole Quay with Packed Opening Night Celebration
Poole Quay has a brand-new hotspot, as PaGe One Bar officially opened its doors on Wednesday 26th March 2026 – and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most exciting new additions to the area’s social scene.
Taking over the former Drift Bar site, PaGe One Bar is a collaboration between Gennaro Campanile, owner of one of Poole’s most loved and long-standing Italian restaurants Da Vinci’s, and business partner Paulo Alleva. The name “PaGe” cleverly reflects their partnership, combining Paulo and Gennaro.
A Launch Night to Remember on Poole Quay
The launch event drew an incredible turnout, with crowds filling the venue and spilling out onto the Quay itself – a clear sign of the buzz surrounding the opening. The atmosphere was electric from the outset, with locals, visitors, and members of the Poole hospitality scene all coming together to celebrate.
Guests were welcomed with complimentary bubbles, adding a celebratory feel to the evening, while live music brought the venue to life. Talented local musicians Emma Hardy and Chris Payn performed throughout the night, creating a vibrant, feel-good soundtrack that perfectly matched the lively waterfront setting.
The energy extended beyond the bar itself, with people gathering outside and along the Quay, highlighting both the popularity of the launch and the continued appeal of Poole Quay as a social destination.
A Fresh Addition to Poole’s Bar Scene
PaGe One Bar brings a new dimension to Poole Quay’s already thriving food and drink scene. With its central location and welcoming atmosphere, it’s set to become a go-to spot for casual drinks, social gatherings, and live music.
While Gennaro Campanile continues to run the much-loved Da Vinci’s, just along the Quay, the new bar offers the perfect complement to a dining experience – giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy a drink before or after their meal in a lively yet relaxed setting.
Whether you’re planning an evening out with friends, looking for live music in Poole, or simply wanting to soak up the atmosphere of the Quay, PaGe One Bar offers something for everyone.
Speaking about the launch, Gennaro shared his excitement:
“It’s incredibly exciting to bring something new to Poole Quay. It’s such a vibrant, eclectic place with a fantastic community and energy. We wanted to create a bar that adds to that atmosphere – somewhere people can come together, enjoy great music and drinks, and be part of the buzz.”
Adding to the Vibrancy of Poole Quay
Poole Quay continues to evolve as one of Dorset’s most popular destinations for food, drink, and entertainment, and the arrival of PaGe One Bar only adds to its appeal.
The success of the opening night suggests the bar is already resonating with both locals and visitors, offering a space that blends great drinks, live music, and a strong sense of community right on the waterfront.
If the launch is anything to go by, PaGe One Bar is set to become a staple on Poole Quay’s social scene in the months ahead.
