We recommend
The Asian-inspired chain is bringing its signature communal benches and bold, fresh cooking to the Poole leisure park, creating more than 50 new jobs in the process.
Expect the dishes Wagamama is known for, from chicken katsu curry to prawn firecracker, alongside a strong line-up of plant-based options including the tofu firecracker. The opening lands just as the brand rolls out its summer menu, which brings new £10 lunch dishes and a run of seasonal favourites.
New for the season are a seafood ramen and a gochujang salmon rice bowl, both designed to bring beach-inspired flavours to the table. For pudding, the banana katsu comes with miso caramel ice cream and toffee sauce.
There's plenty across different diets and ages too. The Poole restaurant will offer an expanded gluten-free menu of 12 dishes, while younger diners can dig into the kids' bento box, with bite-sized classics such as yaki soba and chicken ramen.
Members of the Wagamama Soul Club app get in first, with early access on June 22 ahead of the official opening. New members receive a welcome treat of edamame or prawn crackers with their first £12 order, plus their first loyalty stamp towards future rewards.
The restaurant will be open daily from 11am to 10pm.
Wagamama joins a busy line-up at Tower Park, just outside Poole town centre. The food offering already runs from Nando's and Pizza Express to Slim Chickens, Burger King and Taco Bell, so there's no shortage of choice. There's plenty to do too, with Splashdown Waterpark, Hollywood Bowl, a Vue cinema, Buzz Bingo and Lemur Landings soft play all on site, plus free parking when you arrive.
