A team of professionals from Frettens Solicitors, Azets, Evolve Advisory, Even Keel and Total Guide to Dorset came together this June to complete the legendary Three Peaks Challenge, raising over £5,500 in aid of local charity MYTIME Young Carers.
Despite the gruelling 40km of hiking and 3,000m of elevation gain, the team kept spirits high with humour, camaraderie, and sheer determination.
“The Three Peaks Challenge was one of the most rewarding and challenging fundraising activities I've completed and the weather conditions although a shame not to be able to see the views just added to the adventure and the camaraderie of the team.” said Liz Hutchings, Founder of Total Guide to Ltd.
“It was such an honour to do this alongside an incredible group of people, all raising money for a local charity I’m truly passionate about. Climbing Snowdon in the pitch black was an unexpected highlight — and although I’m currently struggling to walk downstairs, I’d do it again in a heartbeat for MYTIME.”
Special thanks go to Tony, father of team member Zoe Watson, who not only drove the team up down and across the country, but also greeted them at the foot of each mountain with warm hugs, pastries, and cans of Coke — proving to be a much-needed morale boost.
The money raised will help MYTIME Young Carers, a Dorset-based charity that supports children and teenagers who provide care for loved ones, giving them access to vital opportunities, friendship, and respite.
This was a brilliant way to bring together some of MYTIME’s key local supporters to raise money and awareness for the brilliant work that they do. We have supported MYTIME as our charity partner for nearly four years now, and are delighted to have been joined by so many other local businesses as support for the charity has grown.” - Frettens.
