Exclusive New Tours at Minterne House
In Dorset’s rolling countryside, Minterne House is one of the county’s most captivating historic homes. Steeped in over 500 years of history, the house has been home to the Churchill and Digby families since 1620, and now, for a limited time in 2026, visitors can enjoy a rare opportunity to step behind the doors of this privately owned treasure.
An Intimate Experience with Lord & Lady Digby
Led personally by Lord Digby, the intimate tours take visitors on a journey through over 500 years of history, including the Churchill heritage, Admiral Henry Digby’s role at the Battle of Trafalgar, and the remarkable story of Victorian traveller Jane Digby. Guests will also meet Lady Digby and enjoy unique access to the family’s collection of paintings, letters, and original Churchill tapestries.
The day begins with tea and cream tea on arrival, followed by a guided house tour, a walk through the famous gardens with Head Gardener Mark Bobin, and a two-course lunch in the Tapestry Dining Room.
