Lush, the handmade cosmetics company, has opened its second standalone hair salon in Poole – the Lush HairLab – bringing its innovative, sustainable, and chemical-free approach to haircare to the town where the brand was born.

We had the pleasure of attending the fantastic opening event today, celebrating the launch with the local community. Officially opening on Friday 17th October from 12pm-7pm, the event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live hair treatment demonstrations, complimentary styling consultations, live product making, drinks, nibbles, and music, and free goody bags for the first 50 visitors. It was a brilliant showcase of what makes the HairLab so special.

Located beneath Lush’s Head Offices on Poole Quay, the HairLab uses natural, chemical-free hair products made by hand at the brand’s UK manufacturing HQ just around the corner. Combining decades of hairdressing and trichology expertise with Lush’s eco-conscious range, including the cult-favourite Super Milk hair primer, the salon offers a truly unique haircare experience.

Sustainability and inclusivity are at the heart of the Poole HairLab. The salon recycles 100% of its waste, champions diversity with texture-specialist hair artists, and provides inclusive services such as quieter hours, specialist workshops, and mirrorless experiences for those who prefer them.
