Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role at Village Hotel Bournemouth

So I have been working at the Village Bournemouth as Director of Sales just shy of 2 years and my role is to engage locally to promote and sell the hotel for both meetings, events, bedrooms and our fantastic leisure club and varied food and beverage options. 

What makes Village Hotel Bournemouth stand out from other hotels in the area?

We deliver everything under one roof - from your meeting room to overnight - our pub and grill to watch live sport - starbucks coffee shop and our leisure club.  The hotel has a great relaxed vibe and we aim to make your stay effortless. 

What 3 things do you love most about working at Village Hotel Bournemouth?

The people - we are a friendly and lively bunch and the brand is vibrant and this is part of our DNA and something we hope our guests recognise the relaxed yet professional environment on their visits. Village is a brand that really cares-  we have robust ESG and sustainability policies - our Village Green to support our staff and our communities. 

What can guests expect when they stay or visit for the first time—whether it’s for a party night, a business meeting, or a weekend getaway?

Firstly, it is easy and relaxing to park up and get a warm welcome, having everything you need under one roof, fun and vibrant atmosphere and great service. 

What do your regular guests or members rave about most—whether they’re here for fitness, food, or fun?

We get people coming again and again - our tribute nights provide a great night out for locals from Taylor swift family tributes to Elton John on New Years eve.  We have a range of guests with over 4000 local leisure club members with fantastic and updated facilities. We are the local pop in for our starbucks coffee shop and a place for friends to meet and socialise in our Pub and Grill. Wellness is a vital part of Village with our extensive leisure clubs. 

How does the hotel create a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone—from hotel guests and partygoers to gym members and business clients?

Above all we care about our customers and their experience when they stay or visit the hotel. The service and people are what makes a place memorable and somewhere you will want to visit again and we are proud of the experiences we can create.
